Welcome to the ADEPR Church Social Welfare Portal! ADEPR Church is dedicated to transforming lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and in 2022, the church made significant contributions to social welfare. We are proud to share with you some of our key accomplishments from that year.
Our achievements include successfully reintegrating 12,246 street-connected children into society, conducting 30 healing and reconciliation programs, implementing literacy programs, establishing savings groups, and supporting child empowerment projects. We also actively engaged in a campaign against drugs, provided community-based health insurance, supported infrastructure development, and granted livestock and agriculture support to vulnerable families. In total, we utilized over RWF 1.5 billion to support 15,602 vulnerable families through various initiatives, such as providing food, clothing, and constructing family latrines. We are committed to improving the lives of individuals and communities through our social welfare initiatives, and we invite you to explore our portal to learn more about our programs and how you can get involved.

Here are the key accomplishments in 2022:

1.Reintegration of Street-Connected Children: ADEPR Church successfully reintegrated 12,246 street-connected children into society, providing them with support and opportunities.

2. Healing and Reconciliation Programs: The church conducted 30 healing and reconciliation programs, one in each district. These programs included an Imbabazi celebration, where 1,167 individuals completed an 8-month training on healing, reconciliation, and peaceful coexistence. Additionally, 285 new facilitators were trained in psychological and reintegration processes, while 356 pastors and evangelists received training in active listening and Ndi Umunyarwanda.

3. Literacy Programs: ADEPR Church implemented literacy programs in all local churches, resulting in 1,061 graduates in 2023. Currently, there are 10,173 active students benefiting from these programs.

4. Agriculture Ministry: The church commissioned 146 farmers as Trainers of Trainers (ToTs) to teach others farming skills aligned with biblical principles. Furthermore, 830 individuals received training in these farming methods.

5. Savings Groups Ministries: ADEPR Church promoted a saving habit and established mature savings groups with a total of 6,289 members, saving a significant amount of 1,272,122,601 Rwandan Francs. In addition, 1,297 new savings groups were formed in 2022, comprising 28,161 members and saving 360,593,156 Rwandan Francs. The church also established 39 savings groups specifically for single mothers, with 779 members.

6. Campaign Against Drugs: ADEPR Church actively engaged in a campaign against drugs, working to combat drug abuse and addiction within the community.

7. Child Empowerment Projects: ADEPR Church supported over 100 projects aimed at empowering children and improving their well-being.
8. Community-Based Health Insurance: 73,392 vulnerable people received assistance in paying for health insurance.

9. Infrastructure Development: 76 new classrooms were constructed, 158 classrooms were rehabilitated and renovated, and 370 houses were built for vulnerable individuals, with 796 houses being renovated.

10. Education Support: ADEPR Church mobilized efforts to reintegrate 2,061 students who had dropped out back into schools, paid school fees for 641 vulnerable students, and promoted the school feeding program in all ADEPR Church schools with the financial support of RWF 121,188,000.

11. Livestock and Agriculture Support: ADEPR Church granted 743 cows to vulnerable individuals and provided 32,519 small livestock, costing RWF 517,000,000, to further support vulnerable families.

12. General Support: A total of RWF 1,508,373,771 was utilized to support 15,602 vulnerable families through the distribution of foodstuffs, feeding sick individuals at hospitals and correctional centers, providing clothing, and more. Additionally, 1,041 family latrines were constructed for vulnerable people.

These achievements reflect ADEPR Church commitment to improve  lives of individuals and communities through various social welfare initiatives.
